My love for Cienta Shoes for kids has never been a secret. Why? 1. They’re adorable 2. They’re Eco-friendly 3. They’re machine washable. Anything I can put into a machine and it comes out clean? I like.
For over 30 years, Cienta has been specializing in creating high-quality vulcanized footwear for children. Founded in 1982, the family-owned company Calzados Cienta started the kids’ canvas and slipper brand with generations worth of expertise in shoe-making.
The factory is located near the wine region of La Rioja in Spain, a region that is deeply rooted in the process of vulcanizing natural rubber, and has been the only manufacturing source of Cienta shoes.
Dedicated to promoting the natural and correct development of children’s feet, the entire production and design process of Cienta is centered on quality and comfort, making use of only natural materials and the most advanced technology.

If you bottle over 20 years of experience and expertise about kids’ hair, you’ve got the SoCozy line of products created by Cozy Friedman, the woman who founded the first children’s hair salons in New York City. Before buzzwords like parabens and phthalates, Cozy adopted a higher standard for her products that relies on quality and integrity, not chemicals and preservatives. Today, that standard is a promise: “no nasties—ever,” and that means peace of mind.
Ruby and I had way too much fun in CVS this morning. She kept saying, “THEY HAVE EVERYTHING HERE!” like it was heaven or something. The extremely friendly and helpful CVS employees and I were cracking up over her excitement. Oh to be 4 years old again.
Our love for SoCozy isn’t new and that’s because SoCozy’s brand values are something I respect:
⦁ So Smart – Genius is more like it. We believe knowledge is power, which is why education is at our core – the pulse of our brand. Advice, solutions, tips, trends – we serve as an extensive resource for moms, kids, stylists and salon owners.
⦁ So Safe – No nasties in here; just good, clean, honest formulations with ingredients that perform at the highest level. Safe and effective – and completely non-toxic – it’s great hair minus the harsh chemicals.
⦁ So Easy – Because being a parent isn’t always easy, we make haircare that is: simple, fun, multi-functional products that streamline tub time, as well as solutions targeting specific hair concerns to make styling a snap.
⦁ So Cool – Take a strand. Through our products, website, social channels and unique collaborations, we encourage and support individuality. All kids, any hair type – we make it our mission to build confidence and inspire originality. Being you is our idea of cool.
Some of my favorite SoCozy products, now available at CVS! The detangler is especially useful around these parts, I use it on my own hair as well.
SoCozy products are non-toxic and made without parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, propylene glycol. Free of alcohol, gluten, wheat, peanuts and tree nuts!
My kids are crazy. I think all kids are crazy though, right? I’m going to go with that. I love their crazy energy though! Since birth my children have allowed me to pretty much style them however I please, no questions asked. Jude did oppose a bowtie in his toddlerhood here or there but for the most part, I think they’re pretty immune to my torturing them.
That said, I try to style them in colors, themes, patterns I know they will enjoy. Ruby is a girl after my own heart, she loves glitter, pink, flowers, prints, the works. Jude is super into hats and accessories. As soon as the sunglasses go on, he starts making pouty “blue steel” faces. It cracks me up. Of course Ozzy still has no choice and will frankly be stuffed into whatever I say, but hes going to scream and try to run away from me regardless the clothing item. Its part of my cardio, getting him dressed.
If you’ve never shopped with Crazy8, they have adorable stuff! If you have shopped with them then you already know what I’m talking about. All of the kiddos were so excited when their packages arrived from Crazy8 with new and exciting clothes!
